Leasing a female? - Page 1

I am going to be leasing a female from a fellow breeder, neither one of us has leased a dog before, The dog is a SchH1.

What is a typical fee for a SchH1 female.

What else should we include in the contract?

- when and where the bitch and puppies stay, the price, who pays for all medical  treatment, etc.

its usually just private treaty, the person who is leasing the dog keeps it? you have to fill out a form with AKC and you will be listed as the breeder,I would have a complete Vet exam with at least a basic blood profile upon taking possesion of the dog and include something that says you are not liable in the unlikely event of something medically catastrophic related to the pregnancy, but the leasee is generally responsible for all expenses when the dog is in their care and returning the dog in great condition
