What purpose does this serve - Page 1

At a first gance i thought this website was detailed  and informative.
However  after reading responses over the last few days, I am shocked at the general bickering and jealousy between a few readers, i am not referring to anything written about myself as i am older and wiser for this kind of malarky to have any impact.
I am referring to the  constant unkind remarks  amongst certain typers here.
Clearly there is negative feelings amongst some of you.

I thought this was a website that people whom  are mabe just starting out, could be educated, 
I now really have my doubts.
What a shame... 

I can understand how you feel.  However, there are very informative GSD people on this messageboard to include those who may appear to be unkind.  If you have a issue or question then post it.  I'm sure you'll get the very best information available.

The original intent of this website was to provide an online repository of pedigree information for the German Shepherd Dog and, as such, it continues to be a valuable tool.

alf selby, there is good and bad in everything, there are respectful people and others that have not learned manners or how to deal with people. Let it go. The people on this board have supported others in need, dogs in need. Medical help when the vets are closed. Support when losing a best friend. People all over the world with different views, gather here to share and learn and make friends. Participate in the threads you enjoy and skip the rest. I have seen members at each others throats, but when the chips are down they will rally around each other and help. If you leave it truly will be your loss. Welcome to the board.

Very many knowledgable people here.  However, many of these same people do not mince words with people that are making excuses for poor breeding practises.  That at times can come across as unkind remarks.    I do not view those as unkind remarks, I see that as trying to keep from screwing up the GSD. 

As Forest says "Stupid is as stupid does".............  as others say "If the shoe fits, wear it"



And yes, there is some general BS here also.  Those posts are best ignored.

This site contains a wealth of information, a smattering of misinformation, and a whole pile of subjective opinions.  Like any other message board.

I am grateful for the information that generous people have shared with me and acknowledge their willingness to help. 

I by pass or make comment on issues where I see blind allegience to DOGma, LOL!
