Ok, it's the holidays.  How about we post some pictures of our dogs for the holidays.  To put to rest that I am a working line guy only; here are some old pictures of my dogs.  I had to dig them up and scan them, some are kinda old.   I left "Boomer" out because you have seen him before.  I still have the black and tan female, she's 10 1/2 now.  Lets see some good Holiday pics from others.

Here goes:

Our Christmas card from 2000.  My White Shepherd, a rescue, my GSL male SchH 3 KKl1a, V rated, my working line female.  The two females hated each other and didn't get along.

I think 1997 or 1998.

The dogs caught Santa putting gifts under the tree.  There is a picture somewhere of the 3 dogs attacking Santa by the tree...:)

The two females still didn't get along, but they behaved.

Monday night Raw, the WWF.  Stone Cold was very cool and very afraid of my GSL dog.  The dog actually bit me on stage on live TV, because he couldn't Stone Cold.  I have a picture with this dog and Bo Derek, I need to find that one.  She was also very cool.

And my first GSD, an ASL dog, she was awesome:

Robin,
Thanks!  Every year we used to do a Holiday card with our dogs.  Once we moved south we stopped for some reason.   Maybe this year I'll go to the mall and get a picture in uniform with Santa and Boomer.  But, I would be really worried for Santa with my K9 nowadays.

Boomer not in the Christmas Spirit, Jim?  I guess you can't tell him to lighten up, his job being what it is and all, but maybe Santa could give him a goodie and stave off the bite for a while?  Just long enough to snap a pic before Santa's red suit gets darker red and tattered?

I don't usually take Christmas pics of the dogs, or with the dogs...Rarely with the people, either.  Hard to get good ones all at the same time!

If I can get one I'll post it..Meantime, give Boomer a Santa for me..I mean, give Boomer a bone for me!!

TM,
Why?  Because he is used to biting a big red suit in training, and he's not the kind of dog that you bring to a family picnic.  When we go to work he's good with the other K9 guys, but they know him.  He's not a barker in crowds or around people, he's more of the silent "go ahead and make my day" type.  He would rather stare some one down than bark at them, he's a pretty intense dog.  I think he would be fine with Santa as long as Santa  didn't try to pet him or .....move.

Great pictures! I love the one with Santa holding a gift up. It is amazing that the "girls" tolerated one another that well for the picture session.

Hey Renee,
Thanks.  They were good as long as I was there.  After the younger female turned a year they were never left alone together.  We travelled all over the country in an RV, so they had no choice.  We did have a couple of good bouts, but overall it was no big deal

I have an odd sense of humour, so I thought it would be funny to have a holiday card of the dogs biting Santa under the tree.  I did get some good pics, but my wife vetoed the idea.  I need to dig up the rest of those pictures.

Jim
