We got a 98 in tracking!!!!

Then we bombed the rest.  I mean down in a blazing inferno, wheels came off the wagon, just about any cliche you want to put in there  and you know what?

I learned so much toward handling and the sport, I'm still pumped and excited.  It was a fantastic experience.  Of course failing is never the goal, we all want to succeed but I got to meet some amazing people, I got to experience my first attempt at a SchH routine off my home field in a supportive atmosphere and even if my girl and I just weren't *there* today, we still learned and experience a lot.

It was a beautiful, wonderful day and I while a pass would have been fantastic the fail is just as useful to learning this sport.

We'll do better next time!!!!

That is the only way to approach it!  Good for you.  Like my husband says, you can't show or trial dogs if you have thin skin because they will always show their hineys or you will!  Great score on the tracking!!  Next time, you will be calmer and the score will be there, I just know it.

You can get the title unless you step on the field, which is more than some people will ever do! Great tracking score, keep up the hard work and you'll have two more phases to match it before you know it!-

Congratulations on your excellent tracking score.  Not many people get 98's.  And to top it off in a strange place.  I just started and new tracking plan.  I hope i can get scores as good as you did.

The silver lining to not passing is that you know what you need to work on for next time.  Now you will have your 2 before you know it.  Good Luck.

Couldn't do steaks but there was a yummy home cooked dinner and a nice long snooze in the comforts of home vs a hotel room.

Today, it's to the drawing board to put up what went wrong and start addressing ways to help it not happen again. :D

Congrats on your tracking score.  Super attitude too which means you will be successful!  Competing with animals can be the most humbling experience a person will ever have........  Been there.
