No, Chico was not the person in question, so "I guess" it is not so obvious.

Do you honestly think that the 'lil 'ol USCA office is under such extravagant renovation that the phones would be out for one whole week?  They could have razed the whole building, hired an architect and then found a contractor to build a new one in less than one week.

To my knowledge, the only USA members who have ever actually sued, or threatened to sue USA, are a judge whose license was revoked (or there was a threat to revoke, I can't quite recall, now) after a series of incidents, an officer who was (inaccurately?) accused of theft of USA funds by another officer, and a competitor who was not allowed on the team several years ago, because of unsportsmanlike conduct.

Nia,
your above quote is the exact reason a binding arbitration agreement with a $60 cap shouldnt be signed. All the above cases were nothing but lynchings by the good old boys. No proper investigation, no validity to the allegations which is why when "threatened" with suits the EB backed down because there own lawyers explained to them that they could  not win these baseless suits so if you dont want to get your ass handed to you you best concede.  So you are right there were never any actual law suits because the executive board didnt let it get that far they simply conceded that they were on witch hunts and knew they would lose, because the truth and the facts dont lie,  and they would lose a lot more than $25000 dollars in a court of law. Precisely why know one should sign there rights away.

PEOPLE IT,S A DOG SPORT ORGANIZATION!!!!

Your biggest argument is you can,t sue and make money? Jesus Christ where are your heads at???. No matter what you do with your dog or your sport all of you are going to wake up the next morning! Are you all so small that the right to sue for money keeps you awake at nite?? I don,t believe this, Eric if your a WDA member now what do you care if  a USA member can,t sue someone to make money is that the thought you have in your head while your working a dog? Phil the phones are down try again Monday and stop whining and take some MIDOL for gods sake. This isn,t a work place this isn,t a issue of race, this isn,t a life or death matter it,s DOG STUFF for god,s sake people. Bitch all you want or take your toys to another play ground and have a blast. Now were comparing arbitration agreements for Christ sakes whats next we can all stand in a line and compare penis,s??. People it,s not rocket science it,s not life or death.

I don,t go out to a restaurant in hopes of finding glass in my food just to sue the owner. I don,t walk down a side walk just hoping some one turns a corner and runs into me so I can retire... What kinda person plans and schemes and puts real time into a idea just to piss off and hope for a confrontation just to cause a incident for no other reason then there ego?? and hope they can go to court?? thats way to much time invested in stupidity for a sane mind.

Folks go train your dogs, work together, and some day we will all meet in the middle...unless someone figures out how to sue for the ends of a means... oh by the way after seeing an hearing all this from everyone I,m sure the natural progression of all this inelegance has to be... "My dads tougher then your dad"   I.d love to go on but i,ve got dogs to potty and work and thats whats REALLY Important.

Hey Bob,

If these discussions are causing you such stress why don't you get off the computer and go train your dog.  It's not rocket science or anything...  People are discussing the recent changes in USA, SURELY that can't be a BAD thing?  Or do you just follow blindly and drink the Kool-Aid?

For someone who doesn't' think that this is "REALLY Important" <sic> you're spending an awful lot of time telling others that they should just ignore the changes and follow blindly.  If it bothers you so much to read it, perhaps you should just skip over these posts.  Just a thought anyway.

Well it seems it was life and death important enough for all who proposed and passed this idiotic by-law change. I find myself forced to renew due to committing to doing the helper work for our upcoming trial not for my undying love for the USA but for my friends and club members. No renewal and I lose my helper classification and ability to work trials. Now that was fair of the USA wasn't it? They'll get one more membership renewal unless this BS by-law is repealed. Should this not be repealed I will try my best to convince the club to go to another organization. BTW the alternative breeds outnumber the GSD's in our by a large margin and we are the ones getting caught in the middle of the cross-fire. I have no dog in this hunt other than the fact that I don't find it right for any  club to dictate to me what organizations I can belong to.

Bob no one is trying to make money, only trying to keep the powers that be honest. You seem to continually reference WDA when addressing me I supported UScA for many years and ONLY left due to the direction the organization has gone.

No one is planning or scheming Bob you have completely missed the point. No one wants confrontation or law suits what everyone would like is to participate in there chosen sport freely and fairly. Unfortunately the only way to keep the EB honest is through the threat of legal action there actions dictate that not the actions of the general membership. The EB has forgotten that they are suppose to represent the members not the other way around. Now that they have dictatorial power more will be lost than simply not being heard at meetings. You seem to be ok with having no rights and being told what to do that is your choice I like freedom of choice and being treated fairly.
