Steve, there is a unofficial Schutzhund Club in Missoula, only 50 miles from me...there are some not too far away in other areas...The people here got fed up with some of the Schutzhund rules I heard and went their own way...Haven't had time really to check into anything, although I really would like to start working my female GSD and my Malinois- Ruger...

Wow Steph that isn't bad.It is in that range of temp here right now as well.Love the pictures of the town that you posted.I will have to see if my friend has been to them.I know he was playing his guitar somewhere there. The town here is 5000ft and I am about 6000ft.It is a little chillier up here in the mtns but beautiful!!! I have a river behind my place and a little waterfall.So when the snow melts off the mtns or it actually rains it gets a bit bigger.Love it here but as my friend that was out there said I would like it there too.I have always wanted to have mtns,trees,and a body of water where I live.I have that now.Going to pick up that GSD I am trying to find a home for.It is going to be interesting with my dogs and him.Going to have to keep them separate and start some training on him.

Beautiful pictures! I am excited to maybe come that direction and actually see the mountains there! There was an old song song by Marie Osmond with the line, "I'm stuck here in these hill they call mountains..."(singing about Tennessee). Won't you meet me in Montana...

That song was sung by Dan Seals and Marie, It was "Meet Me in Montana" I always loved that song...LOL...
This old female may be from von Ortiz Kennels in California, she had a dog named Ulla
on the pedigree database....can't find anything googling it.....I am trying to get ahold of the gal to find out more about the dog, waiting for a call back...She is a real sweet girl, absolutely loves little kids and gets along with cats...darn, those are hard to come by.
She is also very gorgeous when she is outside now, she feels more comfortable, will have to get better photos tomorrow.,....
She is so fat, because all the guys in the bar fed her their bar food and she was on
'Ol Roy dog food....

Steph: Thank you for all your rescue efforts; you know that you have truly made a difference in many dogs and owners lives; I know rescue is thankless but know that we all truly appreciate your endless efforts and want to help in any way possible. Please post all rescue's if you can and I will do my share to help you. Nanci

Thanks Iain, Nans, and Moons....for the Kudos,
I think this one, her name is Gypsy, is very special too, her face just speaks to ya...she doesn't know why she can only see shadows anymore...Her hearing is great though...LOL...she is very active and gorgeous outside, will try to get photos today.She looks like some very good bloodlines, her tattoo is registered with the Schutzhund club, so .....we will see....
Have someone coming to look at Kaiser or Mira today..Hope one of them goes, cause I have 3 more slated to come in this weekend...darn...
So much for cutting back,. one is from waaaay up on the highline, border of Canada and Montana, luckily they are transporting for me...a young sweet girl. Then a 2 yr old long coat, looks like show quality male, and 2 more from Wyoming, OOOOPS THAT IS 4 NOT 3....
