Von marischal, I did not send them in to get OFFICIALLY graded because I DON'T HAVE TO!!!! My vet is quite experienced enough to know HD when present. I did however go to another clinic as I always do with xrays to get another opinion and that one also had the same opinion... no edvidence of HD and clear on the elbows... If there had been any doubt than I would have sent them to OFA.
When a buyer is serious about a puppy, and it is a big issue, they can go to my vets office and view the xrays. If still in doubt my vet will fax xrays to their vet for veiwing. Don't worry, I do my homework and do it right, regardless of what others think. I only have to answer to myself and no one else. I stand behind my ethics and my puppies. Not in 30yrs have I EVER had a puppy returned for HD or elbows. But like I said earlier, I haven't bred many litters. Quality NOT Quantity. Thats what I base my ethics and my goal on and Im sticking to it......
