Sue, Mystere, vom M,Jen you are all right.I guess I just don't understand why it is so hard for some people to grasp comman sence.I guess it isn't too comman huh? Maybe if ray ray would shut his yap and actually READ what is said in some of the threads he might get some good advice and go to a trainer to get some control over his dogs and maybe a bit for him self. As a trainer I have to say I have had a few clients like Rayray.I always found it kinda fun to teach them.It was like working with a crazy or aggressive dog and then finally having it submit and behave. It was quite rewarding.lol

Yes run ons are amuzing! I learned from two horrible experiences that you must always have control of your dog at all times! I always have controll of my dog simply because of those experiences! I will not take a chance of loosing it as some will! firstly a dog off lease is not under controll of the owner! Fact of law ! If your dog does not platz upon command does the judge tell you oh you have control of your dog? No! Have you bred that bitch yet Jenn??? vom you did not know what the topic was in the first place! but you are in form!

Raymondo, have you learned nothing since joining this forum? Now i do not know 4 pack, or anyone on this thread, but i have read a lot of there comments. 4 pack comes across as a very knowledgeable owner/trainer of her dogs. She had control of her dogs, she knew what she was doing with them, she knows her own dogs for God's sake. However, HER dogs were not the problem, it was the UNATTENDED STRAY dog that was the problem, is that too hard for you to understand? Or is this just a case, as usual, of you wanting to argue your points and bring a thread crashing down with your crap? The title of the thread is "Waste of a great day" but you Raymondo as usual have turned it into " WASTE OF A GREAT THREAD"!!!!!!!!

Bazza....it is like talking to a wall!! lol As the others have stated it just goes sailing right over his head.I think my 7 year old niece would understnd the context of what is being said more then Rayray. He is kinda like a carnival ride....just keeps going round and round but you never go anywhere with it.

That is the best analogy, yet!!! A carnival ride....

Not hard at all to understand bazza! Not hard at all! but why bitch and moan about someone elses dog doing what you are allowing your own dog to do! An experienced dog trainer never takes a dog in training to a public park off leash expecting to stay in full controll! And then complain about someone else's dog causing the day to be wasted! But I have come to expect such behavior out of gsd owners! I suppose you have to !

OMG!!!! THERE WAS NO FREAKING OWNER THAT IS
THE POINT!!!! GOOD GOD MAN READ!!!!

Wow, so nice to see my thread take off. Even if in a weid direction.
Yes I live in town but it's a small town and I have walked, trained, played with my dogs at this park for 7 yrs since I lived in this house. Occasionally a AC or Police car will roll up and look at us, usually they pull over and ask me about my dogs, what training, age, comment on how nice looking they are and are on their way. I'm guessing they can see my dogs are under control.
Yesterday my only concern was I had 2 dogs to control and 1 I had no control whatsoever or a clue about it's actions. There were several children and a few adults at the other end of the park with the play equipment and basketball courts. Whn I yelled out "NO, GO AWAY" to the Pit as she came towards us, one of the adult men yelled "watch out, that dog bites". Was it his dog, his neighbors dog? I don't know, he cold have been full of shit and messing with my head but I wasn't going to take a chance adn find out. I could have had my dogs on a very short leash and still been bumrushed by the Pitbull, then I would have had to let go of my leashes to give my dogs a fighting chance, so what is the point Ray?
I play ball with my dogs 2-4 times a day, off leash with not 1 issue, other than someone elses unattended dogs and once another lady lost grip of her leash, because her dog is a puller with no OB. Luckily my dogs will come right to me when called and sit or lay stil,l while I take care of the stay or loose dog. I was not taking care of a Pit yesterday, for my own safety and that of my unborn child. Had I not been pregnant I probably would have chased it off like I have countless other dogs.
The dog ended up staying at the park most of the day. I finally put an E on my older male and decided to do formal OB with just him. The Pit stayed a decent ways away and wasn't threatening, so I kept at my own business. However when I decided to walk back home, she followed us.
Anyway this park gets very busy after work hours, with local people I see daily, walking their dogs on and off leash. Usually they have common sense not to walk right up on us or I will move in farther off the street and let them pass by, all along my dogs are clueless to their animals, they are 100% focused on the ball in my hands. I keep an eye on who/what is around and move out of the way accordingly. My dogs don't have an ounce of dog aggression in their bones, I wont tollerate it and it has saved more than 1 stupid dog, that charges right up to us. My older male had logged countless miles walking through neighborhoods with me and has been bitten a few times by small yappy dogs, without retaliating back, that's my job to punt them back to their owners.
