The tie thing...lol ?

I had a nice GSD bitch several years ago who I never would have bred, we took in a stray Beagle one day, Timmy.
I never figured he could even reach her.
The little bastard must have stood on a stool but I came out of the house to see my Shepherd bitch dragging him along in tow, locked together and looking bewildered.

Ya never know about nature..

Anyway

LOL poor Timmy!! I could just imagine what was going though his mind.

Funnier yet, I had a 4 lb. Yorkie years ago and there was a neighborhood dog who was alway escaping.  So, she was in heat and I tied her out in the back yard (I used to tie her to a brick, it was portable and she couldn't move it, LOL) for a few minutes and when I went out to get her, Spike was standing over her trying to figure out just HOW he was going to manage it!  She was happy as a clam for all the attention but I got her back inside before tragedy struck.  That was the closest call I ever had but I wouldn't have been worried about puppies, he would have killed her!

Poor Timmy went back to where my son found him and we won't get into what happened to the pups.
Heidi had her litter she was never going to have, and Timmy probably found his way back home.

Taught me a lesson anyway.

I had a lab female that apparently got knocked up by a weinner dog that was able to squeeze under the gate. Not sure if she laid down for it or what? They turned out halfway cute, pretty lab heads with long bodies and short legs. About the size of a basset hound.

Love will always find a way huh?

All this while I am watching The Bridges of Madison County....  movie for tonight, wifes choice..lol
Still I like Clint.

Bart was awesome. Doug and Lynn Seuss did a great job with him and with their two new ones.  When I die, I want to come back as one of their bears LOL 

That dog breeding as a listed job is frightening!  I wish I had a quarter for every person who wanted to breed their dog because "she is so pretty", "he is a great dog", "she is such a good watch dog (no they don't know what a watch dog really is)", or my favority, "because I wanted my kids to witness the miracle of birth and learn responsibility by caring for the puppies", etc.  Eek....I would be rich by now. 

I am afraid I had a good friend that wanted to breed her rescued GSD (was a horrific example of the breed with horrible sway back, walking on her hocks, and I could go on) because she was a "good girl" and my friend wanted a puppy to remember her by.  Thank goodness this dog couldn't get pregnant since I could not talk sense into her.

Mindhunt- thats funny.Yea I wouldn't mind being one of their bears but as long as I got to hibernate in the winter.lol Wish I could now!!!
I remember a lady and her son come in to the vet clinic when her bitch(can't remember what kind of dog...I think Airdale) was having a c-section.She wanted her son to see it.I guess he was home schooled and she thought this would be good to see.It is...but the kid turned the same color white as the wall.Thought he was going to puke.So we had to kick him out.lol
It isn't only GSDs that are getting messed up.I have seen people come in that had a Golden and wanted him to breed with their poodle.The Golden wanted nothing to do with the poodle.I swear he was looking at my saying"please I don't want to be with her...she isn't my kind" Hell even the dog knew it was wrong.lol  I have seen some mutations of pups come out when I was working at the clinic.Makes me wonder what the hell people are thinking?
