Sounds like someone is stroking the board. They went from asking a GSD question about pups they're looking at then moved to say I might go with a Dobe Rott or Boxer and at the end "I think Im gonna get a boxer". They don't even know what BREED they want and all of the one's they're looking at are completely different dogs. I say they buy a nice tropical fish!

I think he/she is talking about cow hocks. Hocks together, toes out, isn't that how it works? (I'm trying it on myself!) The person is likely looking at "TOP show lines" (as opposed to good show lines).

FORGIVE SOME OF THE SNOBS ON THE THREAD..BUT FIND ONE BREED AND STICK WITH IT. GSD'S ARE PROLLY THE BEST FIT BUT IT ALSO DEPENDS ON IF YOU HAVE KIDS AND OTHER PEOPLE LIVING WITH YOU. KEEP LOOKING FOR THE DOG YOU WANT AND MAKE SURE ITS SOMETHING THAT YOU CAN PUT ALOT OF TIME IN. THE MORE TIME SPENT WITH YOUR DOG THE BETTER DOG YOU WILL HAVE.. KEEP ME INFORMED AND POST PICS ONCE YOU FIND YOUR PUP...

VomMarischal: Yes! you are right! After doing a little more research, I figured that out. But, I saw this in a couple of Working lines as well. That concerns me.
Actually, most of you are right and I appreciate the information. Just one person to my surprise accusing me of stroking the board. Can anybody help me in finding a "good show lline" here in Texas. And what price would I be looking at for "good vs top".
