Keith you took the words right out my mouth. Whilst i agree this general section is for all breeds the OP is referring to non gsds appearing in the user comments section of the DB, i noticed myself 3 Bull Mastifs amongs the GSD.

Keith, who goes to the gsd pedigrees to read? And if they do, how do they do it? Don't you have to look up a specific dog?

 Bazza, do you mean here?

Vom, you mean you never read the USER COMMENTS section, can be quite an eye opener, lol.

I only see GSDs on it. It's the GSD user comment section.

VM, I spent tons of time on this site using the pedigree database for research long before there ever were other breeds in the database or a forum or a registration requirement.  If you only ever look up a single dog and never drill down into his/her lineage, you're missing the true value of the site.

Maybe my OP was not worded easy enough.  I didn't mean the general topic.  Of course, that anything and everything can be duscussed there.  I was referring to the LATEST PICTURES which I assume also means the dog there has been added into the German Shepherd Pedigree Database.  If someone enters a Corgi, Mastiff, etc. in the latest pictures, its pedigree has been added which then goes into the database for German Shepherd.
When this happens, not only is that dog "lost" but it also takes up whatever space there is for the German Shepherd.

This was the original url to the GSD board long before Oli made a separate board for the GSD. If you had it saved to your bookmarks you were sent HERE, NOT the GSD specific board. That's why the general board is still dominated by GSD people.

As for the ads, who cares. It's not how I buy a dog anyway.
