He is gorgeous, I think you will quickly find a good home. He is really a prize and in his prime.
Stef, did you get her-how is she. It is so sad when they are abandoned in their senior years.
I am hoping for the best.

if the dog has tatooe maybe you can contact AKC and get the pedigree or the breeder.
Breeder of my rescue dog was contacted and he said he will not bother with any dogs. So he is here - waiting for forever loving home

I couldn't do rescue...Just couldn't do it. Too many idiots out there to deal with. I imagine the old girl is having a hard time of it in the shelter..Can you imagine the stress of going from home life to being in a concrete floored kennel with dogs all around you, barking, whining, crying, carrying on? It's tough on the best dogs, and impossible for some to handle.
God Bless you Steph!

The guy tied the dog INSIDE THE BAR, to the foot rail of the bar. I must not explain myself very well.... LOL... yes we can and do bring dogs into the bars...in Montana
He was talking to the people in the bar, saying how he was going to a new job. Didn't say anything about the dog. Anyhow, left the bar and left her tied to the bar. Bar-owner kept her for 6 days,, thinking the guy would return. Then, brought her to the shelter, not doing well in shelter, wouldn't eat. Shelter called me to rescue her.
She does have Pannus and when I got her home treated her for that. She can't see very well yet.
I shaved her ear and the best I can tell her TATOO NUMBER IS; 1JOFAR8, she is not spayed, no scars...maybe 12 yrs old according to tattoo??? So if anyone can help on the tatoo let me know please...
She really is a sweet girl, slept with her head on my lap the whole way home, after giving her a good brush job....Photos don't do her justice.
Will post photos on another post...the last one messed up my message and wouldn't load...
OLI, we need a save draft button...
Thanks, Steph
