I had a dream the other night I entered my clients Standard Dachshund because I could not find my GSDs sorebook -

In the dream land trial we rocked in tracking then had major problems with the 1m hurdel and was out of control for protection.....

I do love - "off" breeds in  the work.  I recently watched video of an Airdale compeating in Mondio.

I'd like to know how on earth the corgis got over the meter jump!

I sure would like to trial an irish wolfhound one day. It's hard finding one that isn't nervy nowadays.

I could have sworn that someone in a club I use to go to said something about a standard poodle being titled.I could see it.They are smart dogs.

I got a Bh on a Catahoula.......He did like to bite, but he was my first dog and I never finished titling him. Hell, I never even started him in tracking.

Hey KCzaja if you ever get an Irishwolfhound i want to see that. That would be fun to watch.Could you imagine what the helper would be looking at on the courage test!!! That would be great!! Would need that real tall helper...can't remember his name. There are some that aren't nervey.I have met a few out here.

I know of an irish wofhound that has ZVV 3 title in Czech Republic and I can tell you that it is much more difficult to get ZVV 3 title that SchH 3 title.Only a few dogs get it.

Many "off" breeds have achieved that title - Labrador Retrievers, Boston terriers, Boxers etc... etc... Always fun to see something that's "not supposed to be" do something so worthy. Makes life enjoyable and different.

I would have loved to have seen any one of these breeds compete.  I was curious because a friend of mine is getting a rhodesian reidgeback pup in  a few weeks.  She would love to try the sport.  I tried searching to see if any had competed and I came across one breeder that said this breed should not train in schutzhund.  Was wondering if there were certain breeds that should not train as well.
