its good as a preventitive and can be given to young puppies but only kills a percentage of hooks and whips so if the dog is diagnosed with that better to use panacur ,the 1/10 per ten dose is the wormong dose as opposed to the heartworm dose but the drug has a high margin of safety even in much higher doses I do not use it in pregnant bitches

I have used it for 18 years on my GSD's, never have had a problem.

I have used it for all of my GSD's for years, never had a problem with it. I always use a 1cc syringe. A 3cc syringe is just too large to use for it. 1/10 per 10 pounds is the same as 1 cc per 100 pounds.
