I would like to find some pictures of Urban progeny. Also, comments on their developement (structure and working) would be appreciated! Thanks!

Now that some are getting older, are they good workers? Is he throwing his temperament?

Thank you Videx for posting the information, as I am new to this board and was not sure how to post all of Urban's progeny titles. In the USA, his progeny are still too young to title, but all of the puppies that I have are working with a helper for bite training. Urban is entered for the Sieger Show in Ulm. He has a progeny group of 26. www.Lundborg-Land.com

I have held back an Urban pup from my litter - he is now 4 mos. old. Wizard has incredibly stable nerves .. NOTHING phases him... his prey drive is good, loves the rag, ball and swims like a fish. Another breeder has the sister, Wilde, and she is what her name says...Pictures on www.zederkamme.com

Steel Magnolia, I couldnt help but to notice that Wizard is up for sale.. Why are you selling him? Unless if you request only CO ownership? by the way nice dogs you have :)

I am so happy with the information that I have received both onlist and via email regarding Urban progeny and their temperament/developement. It has been a difficult decision for me to choose the sire of my A litter but I have committed happily to Urban at this point. I hope that my Hobby grand-daughter, V Elzie vom Oak Ranch KkL1 OFA Good-Normal, will pass on her incredible desire for the work and be complimented by my choice.

You know Brittany.. I have a very small kennel. As a result I don't have the ability to hold on to puppies from every litter like the people who do this full time and don't work outside of their kennels. It is painful when I later see a gorgeous puppy of mine with exceptional temperament and drive and even though much loved and with a good family..he/she will never be shown, titled, bred, etc... I am absolutely crazy about Wizard and every day that goes by will make it harder to part with him, however I would like him to be with someone that will do right by him...fulfill his potential. Also, when I do keep puppies, grow them out, take the time to title them, etc.. it's usually a female.. I just held back a Yoker male that I really need to sell too, but he is just so nice, it's painful to do so! I just bred the daughter of Wizards' dam to Urban also and would hope to keep something from that breeding... I have some older dogs that insist on staying, even though I have discussed retirement homes with them : - D and there is just so much room and time.... I title and show all of my own dogs without a lot of resources, and have always been happier doing the SchH end of things rather than show... and so I can only have a few dogs at a time that I am working. I am fortunate to have females that have great zest for the work and have selected males more for temperament than structure, and so it's nice when an "Urban" comes along who is tough and yet so magnificent structurally and impressive in the gaiting. Until Wizard is sold, (or perhaps he never will be) he is being worked and socialized.. he made his debut at the SchH club last weekend and was a big hit with all the "working guys." They kept saying, "now WHO is he out of ? " My thanks to Linda for always bringing such nice males to the US...
