Hi, Is it true that in Belgium a hobby breeder can only breed 2 litters a year using one address or one kennel name? That is why you see some kennels with 2 names? Thanks C. cop

I am not sure what the rules are for number of litters per kennel name....but the kennel club will only register 2 litters per 12 month period per female. You can do back to back but then a heat MUST be skipped. I know that there are 2 litters 6 months apart registered to the dam of my Belgian import pup - from 2 different kennel names. Then the dam was put back in training for koering and advanced titles.

Sorry guys but nothing is right. In Belgium you can make 3 Litters a Year without paying Tax. If you make more - you have to pay Tax on each Litter. That's it. You can not use another Kennelname on your Name. You must put it on someones Name but this Person can not be at the same Address.

well i'm live in belgium and we bred dogs, when the new rules came out they told us that it are 2 litters in one year on one adres, it doesn't matter if you have 2 or 5 females it is only the number of litters that you can do , and that number is 2 mark www.vonhaustarga.be
