ROFLMAO!!! you are right, I forgot that the "rescuing" and "you gotta give me sympathy" is Act II. THEN, the name-calling and spewing, when the pattern and lies are flung back. So, that's Act III. At any rate, I am waiting..... (tapping foot).

Gotta ad this:

Best short joke:

An elderly couple were attending a church service.

About half way through she leans over and says to her husband, "I just let out a silent fart what do you think I should do?"
 He replies,

"Put a new battery in your hearing aid."

So, writing a bad check is not a crime in Oregon?  Hmmm, I think I see a whole new career for myself on the west coast!

PSP,  LOL...  well it would depend on your defenition of "bad check"  if there are no funds in the acct. or closed acct.  Yes then there is trouble,  But you can put stop payment on check and get no trouble,  it's a "civil" issue in Oregon....  :-)

Not sure about OPregon, but in some states it is about the AMOUNT/VALUE that you stole with that bad check. The crime of writing a bad check is usually called "uttering a worthless instrument." What Echo Meadows is complaining about isn't writing a bad check, it's about stopping payment. Different animal. In this case, the buyer's action may be considered (by some) to be "self help." At the same time, consider the source and the past recorded history. (Oh, yeah, forgot, Echo Meadows bleats and cries and gets Oli to remove the threads. Good thing so many people printed off copies, or saved the threads on computer. :-) ). The fact is we have only heard one side of this story, and based on prior threads, it may not be exactly or entirely accurate. A person purchased a defective product, had communication with the manufacturer/retailer that may not have been satisfactory about the defective product, and stopped payment on said product. WE DO NOT KNOW THE WHOLE STORY. We don't even know, really, that a pup was sold, a check was written, a vet was seen, nothing. For all we know, the guy thought he was buying an import from Luxembourg that was warranted to speak and play the piano. Or, so he claims... :-)
