lots of stud dogs, lots of breeding females, no titles at all?  None?

good kennel for what? - what are you looking for?

Was just curious...saw an ad for one of their pups here and followed the bread crumbs.

Yes...I agree with Molly...a lot of dogs...but no titles...this only means that these lines aren't proven...so most people would rather get stock from dogs that have been proven throught the Breeding Standards of SchH or another working format...Good Luck...

GoldenElk,

I have heard that she (the breeder) is one of the most knowledgable on the Czech lines, and does work her dogs. I have heard this from several HIGHLY regarded members of this board. Email me privately if you'd like to know who I heard this from.

I made them unhappy not too long ago....I was interested in a puppy from them and was trying to figure out the pedigrees which are scanned in but all jumbled up.  Just hard to understand and figure out the way they have the page laid out.  Well, I noticed one of the names on the pedigrees was photo shopped looking.  Sent me HUGE RED FLAGS!  I asked them about it via email and they were reluctant to "fix" the pedigree back the way it was.  I was told that the original pedigree of the "original" dog was a litter mate and they just photo shopped in the other dogs name....it was a bad photo shop job!

I know Melanie of Dragon GSD  and have purchased dogs from her will continue to do so.She is undoubtably the most knowledgable person I have ever dealt with concerning GSD especially concerning pedigrees and genetics. She has very high quality dogs and has dedicated her life to the breed. All her dogs have obedience and bitework and some are highly trained. She tends to personally prefer a tougher dog with more of a civil side to it. She does not title them for her own reasons, and I am sure she would be more than happy to talk to any one here personally concerning her dogs and her program . If any one gets a chance to come to AZ  I would say  take a trip out to Dragon GSD and meet her and her dogs. I would bet you would go home with a dog or two.

I personally enjoy talking with Melanie, we talk alot about genetics were most breeder will not talk about dog who have problems. She has helped me understand why so many top dogs are producing HD pups, one nutters, or bad elbows.

" this only means that these lines aren't proven"  from what I see all of her lines are proven just some of her dogs are not titled. She does do personal training on all of her dogs.

But it goes back to the same old debate - titles or no titles.

She is more about a healthy genetic dogs then titles from what I see.
