Travels - yes I too think Ruger is anti gay marriage;  but my point was, does she go around actively

opposing it ?   Does she try to justify that on here by cherry-picking biblical quotes, or repeating snide

cracks ?  Can't say I've noticed her being on the same level as many other posters for that.

I can cope with people just saying their interpretation of their version of the bible tells them to think

homosexuality is 'wrong'  (although the concept of accepting being 'told' what they should think sits

uneasily with me !) - but that is different from jumping up and down outside wedding venues and

shouting at people to spoil their day, or lobbying governments to change laws for everyone, just 'cos they

disagree with them, isn't it ?  

Same as folk could offer the opinion that the bible forbids being gay and they believe their god couldn't

possibly MAKE people that way from birth,  without proscribing the behaviour of EVERYBODY and

repeating prejudicial remarks.   Where in any bible version can we find a reference to "not Adam & Steve",

for instance ?

But yes, I am opposed to gay marriage 100%,,,,No, I am not going to lobby against it or stand with a sign on a street corner protesting it, as I don't think that accomplishes a thing,,,I enjoy speaking my mind and don't mind hearing others ,,,
