OK as one employed in oncology ward in another life I think Joan post was ignorant and offensive.

Life spans of people receiving cancer treatment have improved immensely.

Cancer is a complex problem, do you want an apology by the countless, selfless people caring, treating and making inroads to combatting this disease because they can't give you a simple answer and a sweet pill to cure it instantly, the author (not poster) is an attention seeking douche that contributes nothing.

 

 Correction, he is more than a douche, he is a predator on human misery, look at his bio, alternative medics guy trained in classic literature or some irrelevant field.

When the arts graduates promoting books that prey on desperate people actually have something to contribute to the problem other than scaring people into paying for unproven bullshit alternative medicines then their alternative medicine will just be called medicine.
