"My Mom made me do this" - Page 1

Just had a knock at the door.  A little 10 year old girl had come to give me a thank you note for a birthday present I had  given her.

She thrusts the paper out at me, & announces, "My Mom made me do this!!!"

I am not sure if she was pained, angry or just merely inconvenienced over having had to do so.  LOL

I remember those days of my own mother making me write thank you notes.

Not so common now days, of thank you notes being written - for anything.
