Australian Shepherd puppy hair at 10 months? - Page 1

I’m new to owning a Aussie and I was wondering if it was normal for them to be covered in puppy hair even at almost 10 months of age? She has some adult hair between her shoulders, down to her rear end and on her bottom that measures about 3 inches( imagine a landing strip ). But the rest of her body is still nothing but puppy hair. Will she have short hair, or will it come it in longer once she’s 2 years? 

Edit: she began growing that adult hair at 2 1/2 - 3 months and hasn’t changed since then!

All normal hair growth, our boy just turned 2 years old and is just finishing shedding his puppy coat so for a while they have both puppy and adult coats. Keep combing.
