I don't know nothing, vk4gsd, but I get the feeling that you might be moving your boy along a little too fast--he looked much more hectic in this clip than he did in the previous one with the concrete barriers...not quite the same confidence as he was showing in the previous two sessions.

Just what I think I'm seeing. But I could certainly be completely wrong about that.

fair enough, If I could only stack up all the polar opposite opinions I get on the dog and how to proceed with training you would see how the various opinions are just a reflection on each individuals context and personal experience base.

I enjoy the different ways people perceive things, it's good learning.

I agree with Hexe, your dog did seem a little more hectic in this video. The grips were not as good as they were in the last couple videos. Your dog was more calm when you were farther away, he would however get hectic as you approached. In the Video  he would get vocal and swing out of the pocket to avoid you when you approach. Personally I would spend a little time building his confidence when you approach him on the bite! Come up calmly with some tension on the line and calmly praise and pet him when he is on the bite. I want to see a dog stay calm on the bite when the handler approaches.

good call, the dog is moving away from me while on the bite, not sure why exactly. As for grips, they are harder and deeper than ever.

Good call jyl. I would keep dog on a short lead if i remember correct from the other videos your dog is always on a long lead biting away from you .Now it time to let him bite at your side. while biting talk to him calm touch him reassures him this is what you want .He is deafeningly biting with no control now its time to put manners on him if you control his first urge to lunge soon he will camand his aggression will be more focus and less hectic .But that can only work if your dog is beside you and your cam build trust by talking touching. Being in control stay cam stop running up to him hes not going anywhere take your time your dog reads your excitement .You need him to read a came handler who is in control .stick beside him leave the wow factor build trust now im not saying the dog does not trust u in day today stuff but when a dog is in a fight its a different trust .I hope this helps .still a cool dog .By the way some dogs avoid the handler because they don't want to be controlled .But its your responsible to always be in control and your dog should always listen to you. Other wise he is just an other visious dog it easy to get a dog to bite the hard work is to control the out come

Thanks Yogi, makes sense now.

anyhoi the main point of the vid was the water test, completely unrehearsed, dog did not hesitate or react negative in the slightest way. I was happy much.

We all know your dog likes water - why should he hesitate or react negative?
Once again, I really like your vids, and I like your dog, but your training is, let´s say, unusual, it´s not structured like we use to train ( a short leash for me, some reward for your dog, slower, but more efficient progress ).
On the other hand he´s a good dog, your vids do show that all the time. You don´t need to train him like I or anybody else would do. I really respect and honor your endeavor without club and without regularly helperwork. Good dog, and a dedicated handler/owner - what else do we need to ask for?

vk, I won't pretend to understand the type of training  you are doing with your dog, but I wanted to say that I am enjoying the videos very much. I always like to see a GSD doing something interesting. Your participation in this forum has been positive and, IMO,  you have become one of the best contributors. Thank you!!
