What do you guys think?
What is more dangerous to our health, measles? or the Gov't forcing us and our children to take their vaccinations without our consent?

by GSDtravels on 15 February 2015 - 15:02
I find it sad that it's come to that, actually. The risk is greater for the unvaccinated and there are those who use their children as pawns in a political game of power. Anti-science has gone past ridiculous on so many issues and it's fed strictly by the political game. That people choose to put their own children at risk doesn't surprise me anymore, considering that they're willing to destroy the environment in order to reach their goals, putting their own future generations at even greater risk. You don't own your children and it's sick to use them this way. JMHO.

Measles can be pretty deadly to an unborn child, especially German measles.
Don't get your child vaccinated but that child should not be allowed in public schools. I suppose you don't like any vaccine, say like polio?
Vaccines save lives. Most of what you hear about vaccines being bad has been debunked.
Travels according to Rand Paul a person does own their children.

GSD, please don't assume. So, you two, your answers really don't surprise me, but I'm curious, if your children don't belong to you, who do they belong to,in your opinion? the State?
And answer me this, how many children have died from the measles vaccine in the last ten years. How many have died from the vaccine?
Travels, the mom's that don't want their children vaccinated love them, more than you'll know. Thing is they've done their research, unlike the sheep. sad, very sad.
And before you go assuming more than you have already, my children did have the basic vaccinations, but there are vaccinations I would not let them have, the gardisil for one, and the flu. One must use common sense and quit following along like a dumb sheep.
To allow the gov't full force of our children is NOT loving our children, that is just plain crazy, however, it's coming, which otta make you two happy.

Mod edit.. Something to say to me?? Do so in a PM. Also watch the rudeness in your replies to comments that you don't agree with. You asked for opinions and when you do not like them you start the digs, no more thank you. mrdarcy (mod)

Vaccines CAN cause adverse reactions -- so much so that the Federal Govenment maintains a database of adverse vaccine reactions. Although we can't be sure, I suspect that a family member developed ALS as a result of a vaccination. There are 2-3 cases of ALS suspected to have resulted from the Gardasil vaccine, as the victims were very young girls who are not exactly in the demographic group that is "at risk" for ALS. Admittedly we are talking about a very small group here . . but if vaccines are to be REQUIRED, those who develop debilitating diseases should be compensated.

They've done what research? Listening to the conspiracy theorists like Alex Jones? No, they haven't done proper research and it's not love they're showing, it's ignorance and arrogance due to politics. If they'd done their research, their children would be protected from the diseases that kill and, even worse, infect others who may have immunity issues.
And before you go assuming more than you have already, ...
Please point out where I assumed anything in regards to your views, which you didn't even state, you asked a question and I answered it honestly.
...my children did have the basic vaccinations, but there are vaccinations I would not let them have, the gardisil for one, and the flu.
Why some and not others?
One must use common sense and quit following along like a dumb sheep.
What you're using is anything but common sense and at this point, I'd say you're the one bleating.
To allow the gov't full force of our children is NOT loving our children, that is just plain crazy, however, it's coming, which otta make you two happy.
If parents aren't being responsible, I find it sad that the government would have to step in and I agree it's crazy ---> on the parents' part. It makes me anything but happy, it makes me sad.

Travels, I had addressed you and GSDadmin. he's the one who assumed I didn't vaccinate my children. You assumed mothers are using their children as pawns and that they don't love them. The is a HECK of a stupid assumption.
Please answer my question. How many children have died from the measles vaccine, and how many have died from measles in the last 10 years.
Also, who do your children belong to?
Mod edit.. What is it about " Take it to PM's" you don't understand? Once again if you have anything to say to me do so in a PM.
Second thought, never mind Travels, I know the answer. NONE have died from the measels. Many have died from vaccinations. The reason I did some and not others obviously is SOME have side effects. That's a no brainer. The risk of the vaccine is much greater than the risk of the disease.. What I am trying to say is if you jump on the 'legislate vaccinations bandwagon" you won't have a CHOICE what they do to your children.
Gates has already admitted he's putting a sterilizing agent in vaccines to stop the rise of world population. Do you really think those in power care about your children?
Thanks radarsmom. nice to have some common sense people posting in OT.
These folks won't overvaccinate their dog, but they throw their kids under the bus.
Ludicrous.

if your children don't belong to you, who do they belong to,in your opinion? the State?
Children are their own persons, parents are supposed to be responsible stewards of their health and well being until they are old enough to make decisions for themselves. Do you think it's okay for parents to physically or sexually abuse "their" children? Why should the State step in, in those instances?

Travels, I had addressed you and GSDadmin. he's the one who assumed I didn't vaccinate my children.
But you were addressing me last when you brought up assumptions.
You assumed mothers are using their children as pawns and that they don't love them.
I didn't say t hey don't love their children, but it appears that they love proving a point more! A point that has dire consequences. And if it's not political, please explain why it's not been an issue unitl recently.
The is a HECK of a stupid assumption.
Not an assumption at all, it's the truth.
Please answer my question. How many children have died from the measles vaccine, and how many have died from measles in the last 10 years.
Oh, I'm thinking about ignorance and arrogance right here! You're asking the wrong question Red! The pertinent question whould be how many died BEFORE there were vaccinations?
Just in case you accuse me of not answering, in a TEN YEAR SPAN, there were zero deaths from measles and about 100 from the vaccine. Now you can answer a quesiotn for me, okay? How many ANNUAL deaths occurred from the measles BEFORE vaccines?
