Refreshingly, there is SOME common sense in the article you posted GSD.  The goal of Islam is world domination.  Don't be fooled into thinking anything else.  They are slowly infiltrating every county, and growing in numbers.

Andrew Bostom calls this analysis "preposterous." Bostom, editor of The Legacy of Jihad, says there's a major difference between the Bible, which describes the destruction of an enemy at a point in time, and the Quran, which urges an ongoing struggle to defeat unbelievers.

No kidding.  Name one place where God tells Christians to kill unbelievers?  To the contrary, Jesus` says love your enemies, pray for them.

In the OT, during the days prior to the flood, the world was filled with evil, all men, spare a few, had evil thoughts.  In fact, the Devil's angels had mated with human women (and it is happening again today) to create Nephilims..  So when God picked Noah, He did so, because Noah's bloodline was pure and eventually the line of David would birth the Messiah.

All though the OT Satan tried to  thwart Gods plans.  Those that God told to kill were truly evil.  We cannot comprehend nor understand, because we don't have all the details.

However, seeing how people are today,   killing babies, murdering, raping, I can understand.

Red, the whole point is the bible teaches and promotes genocide, last I checked genocide is a war crime. Plenty of countries and religions want to dominate the world including Christianity. Why do you think you come here everyday and post your Christian rhetoric? You won't be happy until all people are saved. Moral majority, force feeding your beliefs by legislation. Killing the native Americans. This sums it all up  --  "It is often used, for example, in American stories of the confrontation with Indians — not just is it legitimate to kill Indians, but you are violating God's law if you do not."

REALLY?

And BTW the domination part of this article is what one man says and the funny part is history doesn't hold up that fact.

Maybe the people in North Africa got tired of the racism promoted by the Christians, maybe they got tired of their famalies being split up. Maybe you should really study US history without the slant and amnesia of the Christians, but then again what good would the truth do.

GSD, I don't come here every day so people will be saved, although, that'd be nice.

I usually post because I see news that is interesting, or I see some comment that just isn't true, such as your comment that the Bible promotes genocide,- then I feel like I have to defend almighty God and the Bible, which of course is not true either!

Also, because some days I'm bored and like a discussion.  Although, on here it usually turns nasty... but you know what they say.  Any attention is better than no attention. Tongue Smile

Right it turns nasty because people use racist words and tell woman they are pickle smoochers. Do you see that, or people start to lose the debate and then switch to how to bait others, do you see it?

You harp about nasty but you support some of the nastiest people here, do you see it?

Lets discuss the ideas and subject instead of always switching it onto the people. "Although, on here it usually turns nasty..." This is turning it on the people which leads to more nastiest, instead of attacking the ideas and subject you spin/deflect it to nasty people, do you see it?

Lets quit worrying so much about the people and more about the idea/subject. You can't debate the subject without copying bible verses or in this case saying the nasty people which gives you an excuse to run off and end the debate.

So, what does the above have to do with the subject?

Practice what you preach.
