what is a soul mate exactly - Page 1

Seems a pretty vague concept, what is one and how do you know you got one and not something else that later proves to have been a "good idea at the time"


Curious, this is not my field.

Well, if you don't even have a soul you are shit out o' luck, anyway.

^ nice definition, very technical and precise.

Now, if you had a soul, and you found your soulmate, you would feel a sense of joyous completeness only with that person. It isn't like a soul has an atomic weight you can measure, even you might  grasp that.

soulmate....... i say soulmate is someone u feel connected to and have that connection regardless the distance, you know when something is wrong and you call them w/o having any info on whats going on, it is someone who you can loose yourself for and not regret it, someone you become selfless for and not keep count of your good "deeds".......it's not someone you can live with, but someone you cannot live without...and if by some weird reason you met that person but never got "together" they still hunt you years later and you always wonder what if.... someone with whom years fly by and you look forward comming home to, you can sit comfortably in silence, and when they say "it''s ok" you believe it.

so its like a telepathy thing. i get that, i grew up before cell phones.... we used to just find each when we had to, usually heading in the same direction anyway. someone didn't show you just knew if they were goofing off again or in trouble... same thing i guess even without a soul.

everyone has a soul regardless if they believe it or not....if you dont like word "soul" you can call it consciousness/ self awareness, whatever works for you.
