I really cant understand why the Woman,and men here dont take this serious.

That lady in this topic is a human being just like you's are.  Okay that doesnt happen here in Canada or the U.S.A.

so silent on these subjects,  Are you afraid of something?

Religion used to take away human rights of a section of society is evil.

Much violence is perpetrated against women in the name of religion, family honor, politics, or just plan fear. 

Gouda, why would you assume nobody cares?  Do you think there aren't Christians out there who would do the same or worse?  Of course we care, why do you think we're fighting to keep our country secular?

Sociopathic styled countries use religion for their evil purposes. I think that means I would agree with Mindhunt? For a second there, I almost thought Travels called herself a Christian.

This is a continuing problem Gouda, horrific as it is. The "honor killing" justification has hit the mainstream media before, too. I think the problem is, you have to get the perpetrators, who happen to be the very same powers holding tightly to an assault rifle and a scarf covering their face, to want to change. They are providing the leadership example. The other men follow. They aren't exactly into soul searching and being trustworthy, either.

Protesting about it on an OT dog board really isn't what I would call a big grass roots call-to action-spot, either. It's good for a sounding board, especially if you don't care when no one is listening. LOL Just ask BE4U how it has worked for her! 

I also don't respond to shaming very well. I am sort of immune to it. LOL I think it is an overcompensation from my past. 

The Muslims are great...

They don't allow women to vote...

They don't allow woman to drive...

They stone women to death if they have an affair...

And they get people to blow themselves up with the mere promise of 72 virgins in their next life...

We should adopt & enforce their customs...

looking up old posts is not my thing, yeah you said it and it will be out there sitting in a database for a very long time to come, it will out live you John, a legacy of sorts.
