What is your Opinion on these vehicles - Page 1

We are going tomorrow to start our search for a new vehicle to get out of the 2012 GMC truck because of poor gas mileage

Having been on the 15 state trip , the gas bill was worse than the hotel bills...SO

My favorite is the GMC Terrain 4 cyl, or the Buick Encore 4 cyl w turbo, or the Chev. Equinox 4 w turbo or a 6cyl   ?????

 

If you have one of these please let me know if you get at least 30 MPG and are you happy with your vehicle..We plan to travel the Eastern US this summer or fall ..We are on the go all the time and gas is eating our breaksfast , lunch and dinner,,,

THE THING  I noticed today is the Encore is smaller inside, has no arm rest on passenger but does get at least 33mpg...the Terrain gmc has an armrest, has bigger inside back behind seats that fold down for dog crate..

Any opinions if you have one of these,,vehicle would be appreciated

Stay away from the Equinox.  My husband's oldest has one and has had nothing but problems, all expensive.

I would personally stay away from a turbo.

The chevy terrain is to heavy for a 4 cyl. and with a turbo its no better on gas then the v6

 

Actually the3.6 V6 in the terrain is not the best for fuel economy,

but does have good power and room.

Wondering about the relationship between the words "turbo", and "[fuel] economy" as well as gouda.
 

Thanks guys and gals..We spent all day test driving the terrrain after deciding thend tBuick encore was tooo small and not for us

We found tno the one we want just could not get the deal we wanted

 

Crystal Red, 4 cy  No turbo on the GMC , had the chrome package and electric lid opener, rear camera now standard, with rack on top

Only one in a 50 mi range.....Going to DALLAS Monday.... I

I use to have fun buying a new vehicle not any more, I went out.side when the talk got hefty

My hubby was Head HR for an oil company and he is still gonna rule with the last word   His price or no price
