Hello I rescued a small black and red female gsd. from an elderly woman she had some major medical problems and was unable to care for her dog. I went to NC and picked her up . She failed to mention this dog has aggression issues with other dogs , major issues . ( I have a 9 yr. old gsd and a 4 yr. old gsd. both females ) . I've had her for 5 months now hoping this would get better but it is not . Here is all her bad faults ; dog aggression issues only with dogs in her household . Or a loose dog that is running towards you . A dog walking by she walks on . She guards her person . Chases chickens, horses and deer ( only if they run first !) And that is all her faults.
Now for all the good things : she is house-trained ,crate trained , walks on leash , comes , sits , paw , down , wait , high 5 , fetch , loves to swim , gentle with kids and adores people , loves to play ball and catch flying toys , she is quite , one of the most mannerly dogs in the house that I ever had , also one of the kindest , sweetest dogs Ive ever known , rides in the car for hours you would never even know she was in there , she will follow you where ever you go , she will lay by the shower until you come out and follow you up and down the stairs 20 x , where ever you are at she will be laying at your feet or throwing a ball on your lap . As you can tell by now I've grown very attached to her already , but it is no longer fair to lock up the other two dogs cause they cant get along. She is a confident dog and not willing to back down . I have kids and before one gets bit trying to break up a fight she has to be rehomed .
She would be best as the only dog in household , fenced in secure yard , country setting , someone whom is home with her and whom has gsd knowledge , If anyone out there lost a pet and is thinking about another gsd , you will not be disappointed , I will check ref's , vet ref's and i will come see your fence ! She must be spayed and no papers will go with her . Must live in the house or you will break her spirit . we are in NE PA .
She is chipped , dhlp / rabies/ bordetella / advantix / heartworm all is current , life time pa Lic. . home again tag also , . only health issue is dry skin - takes fish oil and no beef dog food ( makes her itch ) she is a stunning dog ,

Could have written this ad myself, except I don't have kids!
