View down my driveway this morning. The *$%^&^#@#!!! snowblower ain't working, and any shovelling I did yesterday is all drifted in. Thank God the troops have arrived to dig me out!

Back deck: Haven't seen snow like this since I left Sundridge, in Northern Ontario!

Maybe they think I'm a wuss for complaining?

Apparently the link to the Environment Canada website isn't working. Here's what it says:

WIND CHILL WARNING IN EFFECT

SNOW SQUALL WARNING IN EFFECT

FLASH FREEZE WARNING IN EFFECT

SNOW SQUALL WATCH IN EFFECT

I have NEVER seen so many warnings at the same time!

It's currently -6 C, but will plunge to -24 by tonight.  Omg Smile

Sad Smile  That's sad, Moons, and makes me regret joking about the situation. I'm not one of the people who's in denial about global warming. Canada's polar bears are really suffering because of it, too.

Gotta go shovel some more s**w...  Confused Smile

Thanks Moons, good video.  I only got half-way through, but I'll watch the rest later tonight.

No regrets Sunsliver,
i only posted it because it was relevant and yes the Polar bears are also going to see change.
I know it doesn't make sense when it's cold outside to think global warming but everything effects everything else in nature.
Glacier is one of the places i'd love to see sometime.

Okay, my nephew told his Dad they got about 16 inches of snow over the last 24 hours. I said I thought my town didn't get that much, and since Ryan is closer to Lake Simcoe, he likely got more.

Then I went out into the big dog yard to play with the dogs.... What Smile  The snow was up over the top of my insulated rubber boots!
Nope, 16 inches, at least!

And I've now lost 2 dog toys in 2 evenings... Sad Smile  When we had our schutzhund club holiday dinner on Sunday, one of the members told me about this cool toy that glows in the dark, when you charge it up by shining a light on it. It also glows through the snow, so you can find it after you throw it.

Think I'll check them out and see how much they cost!  Teeth Smile  That kong on a rope I lost the other night wasn't cheap!  The green bone I lost tonight, though, was a freebie left behind by a boarder.

It's cold in FL too. 30's last night, high 40's today. Predicting 80's by the weekend.
