So, this is the first year I had planned on going out for New Years Eve, but I got a better offer. My daughter and her husband made last minute plans and I'll have the kids for the night. They're the better date and day of the year :) Drake even got a bath today, so he can snuggle up with them.

Plenty of alcohol. Just the opposite happened here as we always have our oldest grandson and this year he is staying with his mom who is having a big bash. We will surely miss him this year. Hence the all you can drink alcohol binge.

Fixing a special dinner for Steve, opening a bottle of good wine, watching Radar doze in front of the fire, staying off the roads and getting to bed early! Happy New Year to all!

As soon as I can get out of work this afternoon, The wife & I and the DAWG are going away overnight...

Pango behaves very well so we don't mind taking him...

It's only 12 degrees here and supposed to get colder with something (Snow) possibly a big storm on the way for Thu Fri...

I haven't gotten excited about a new year in a long time, we have nothing planned.
I hope the coming year will be better than the last but I know it won't, maybe that's cause enough for a drink.
Around here the cops have a habit of parking around the corner and watch you coming out of the bar, then they fake a reason to pull you over a block down, they do it as many times as they can making everyone's evening simply wonderful, no thanks.
Do yourself a favor, take a cab.... we don't have cab's here.
