Just being curious, how did everyone come up with their PD Username?

When I joined years and years ago, I was new to the forum and had changed from working rottweilers to gsds because my female who was part of my heart passed and I did not want another rott, so I chose gsdnewbie, people these days that do not know me misunderstand the length of time I have been around and experience due to the name though.

Because I have a short, boring, common, actual name, and it still
looks short boring & common even if you stick 1234 or equivalent
in/on it. Being a GSD enthusiast I fancied something 'German'-ish;
at the time I signed on I was working with a bunch of GSDs owned
by someone else, and laughingly referred to as "Mummy" to the
pack. So - DogMother.

street, in at least one of his books ?

No! I did not know that, and I have read quite a few of his books. Do you recall which one? I know he always sticks a dog into his stories, somewhere. Lol
