Bee I love that hat--I'll be right over with the wine!!!!!! Oh shucks--better wait until tomorrow--forgot I'm on sleepy meds. (pain and muscle relaxers) OK I am going to share an old pic of my grandparents and check out my mama's hat--she loved her hats.

Wow! That is one heck of a hat! Such a cool picture...seems you have a box of those somewhere. Your grandma is awesome!
I wonder how people walked around with those on their heads. I would be bumping my head into everyone and everything! I am drinking my coffee now.
I do feel like baking today. Lots of big tomatoes now, so I have a recipe that uses Arborio rice and mozzarella cheese. It is divine! I am going to get my hat on this afternoon!

Yes I don't have as many as I did but I do have a lot of old pics of my mama and her family. Thanks for the compliments. When I was a kid I looked more like my birth mother, but now that I am older I look more like Mama everyday and I am loving it.
I can barely wear a ball cap, I can't even imagine hats like that or the little ones they wore on their head on the 50's--yes she had those kind too. My luck I would hit something and fall. Or can you imagine a hat like that going under a ceiling fan?
