apart from the creation science websites;

http://www.sciencedomain.org/journal-home.php?id=4

what a hoax, i have read some of the "peer reviewed" papers, look into the fine print, they are reviewed by the website only and have no affiliation with any actual science editorials. the maths is completely bogus and they throw in every random technical term they can google and structure it to look like scientific thought.

this is really an insult to human intelligence at the most extreme level.

pathetic - one of shtal's sources which incidentally moons thought was interesting, what a joke, a complete fabrication with zero credibility. only in america.

The source was the individual who had posted the two videos, not some website.

vk4,

Don't go purposely on the road to get hit by passing trucks.

Personally, I don't known enough about them to comment about their credentials.  On the other hand, I also don't know about vk4's credentials.   But, his/her comment, "...only in America"  is indicative that he/she did not investigate fully.  They are actually international.

Curious, published on what topic?

Am well aware of the scientific community....teach biology and AP biology at a college prep school.  Have a degree in medical technology and secondary education with some grad school.

There are some inconsistencies aren't there? One that comes to mind is how a physicist could state that all German science "sucks", forgetting about someone such as Werner von Braun.  Another may be the summary dismissal of the historicity of the Bible, given the almost universal authoritative position to the contrary, even amongst secular minimalists. Definitely not the "language" of science, but then again, stranger things...

by vk4gsd on 28 August 2013 - 19:08

Carlin this is not a professional science forum, it is an off topic page on a dog board where doggie folks share opinions for mainly leisure....just sayin.

secular minimalists??? WTF??

secular minimalists??? WTF??

Secular historians who are are also Bible minimalists.  Historically speaking, the Hebrew record is the gold standard for the ancient period, particularly when it comes to dating.  As such, all historians utilize it to one extent or another.  The secular historians who would discount as much of the biblical record as scientifically possible (for several reasons, some good, some not so good) are referred to as minimalists, while others are more moderate in their treatment.
