Any true Christian knows the Catholic Church is as far from Godly ( or as anti -  christ ) as it gets, so it won't likely bother them much.

What constitutes a "true Christian" ? Having experienced Methodist, Catholic, Baptist, Presby, non-denominational sects, for instance, I can asure you that hypocracy is non-discriminatory. In fact, many having residided in the cradle of the Southern Baptist Convention for the better paft of the last decade, I haven't yet been able to determine who makes a better drunk, the Irish Catholic or Billy Bob Baptist. Not sure the instances of adultery or domestic violence among the religious populations are so different either. What's left? Theology? Dogma? Canonical controversy? I'm not making excuses for the Catholic Church, and am often its greatest critic; however, these days, the damage done to the Christian faith in the name of religion certainly crosses denominational boundaries. Do we really need to list the scandals of the evangelical powerhouses? I think that if the evangelicals had enjoyed the monopoly and vast expanse enjoyed by the Catholic Church over the centuries, there would be similar ramblings, despite the differences in confession.

Carlin, I can tell what you what a true Christian is not, and that is one who looks to cause strife or create dissention amongst the body of Christ.

Obviously a Christian is one who follows Christ.  It is more than a belief as even the demons believe.  You can tell a Christian by their fruits.  To add to that, I feel many denominations have lost sight of Christ, which is why I no longer belong to one.
Anyone who reads the Bible(who has the Holy Spirit inside of him for discernment ) will know that the Papacy is not of the God of the Bible.

Many call themselves Christians but really have no idea what it entails.  I know as I used to be such a person.
Which is why I responded to this post.  Vk, posted all these in order to what, discredit Christianity??  Sorry, but Christianity has nothing to do with the Catholic Church.  I'm not saying there are not saved people within the Church, btw.

You can tell a Christian by their fruits.

Do pumpkins count as fruit? The apples and pears are looking good, too!  I just might have peaches, too. I'll go check!

Bee, it's a good thing that I love bees and think they are necessary here on earth, or else!  Wink Smile

Christians don't get along any better than Muslims, and soon will be just as violent to each other.
It's good more and more people are speaking up who don't believe in this crap.

Might keep you people from killing each other one day, or maybe just let you have at it, and finally have some peace.

Baloney Moons,  real Bible believing Christians will never kill each other nor anyone.  If they do, they are not of Christ.

Good god in heaven, where in the hell have you been.
Get out from under that turnip and open your damned eyes.

Christians have been killing in the name of Christ for centuries.
So have the followers of Islam.
It's history, common knowledge, you gonna deny the truth, for how long?

Pathetic.
