Just thought my crazy accident yesterday would be something different and everyone can get a laugh...........Yesterday I went to get a whole chicken out of the freezer to thaw and dropped the damn thing on my foot. (bare feet of course) Anyway it broke my middle toe and cut the heck out of it. So I spent 3 hrs in the ER getting xrays, my toe glued together etc. When I was a kid I never had anything but cuts and scrapes. Now that I am getting older, it seems dumb things happen to me. Anyway they gave me antibiotics and pain pills. Yes it is sore. Yes it is hurting...................Didn't help Mauli was prancing around and stepped on it this morning. OW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!........................I am definately taking it ez and keeping it propped up today.

So sorry for you! Please get better soon. If it makes you feel better to have sympathy for your situation, please know I am sitting in the walk-in clinic while on vacation because my son is complaining of an ear ache.

We have been waiting over an hour, it is getting close to lunchtime and I just had coffee for breakfast. I   am getting hungry!

Thanks Bee...........Please extend my sympathy to your son---as a child (and still yet) I had a lot of earaches--geez I would almost rather have a butt kicking. LOL  Also I know abut the hurry up and wait thing...................When I was in the waiting room this little girl kept running and jumping and showing out for all the folks and steadily kicking the back of my chair. Grrrrr...........it was hard to be nice.............

Oh dear !  Waddya mean, now you are all growed up "dumb
things happen"  ?  Seems to me, born an accident-prone klutz,
always an accident-prone klutz .   Me too.

I can surely sympathise with a broken toe, having had one or two
myself in the past  -  ouch.Omg Smile

GET WELL SOON.Rose

Oh, no, it hurts just thinking about that. What's with these GSD's liking to walk on our feet. Bev does it all the time too.

Damn near got killed coming back from the clinic! It started to pour and flood the highway. I am not sure how I steered out the water, avoiding the crash on the right and the guard rail on the left. I am sure the all wheel traction helped, but geeze-us, I can't believe I didn't panic and oversteer and send us into a tailspin!

Today is my Anniversary, too, must be a guardian angel flying close by for my kid and I !

Oh no Bee, I am glad you are OK. Well yesterday morning we had the same type of scenario--a little-LOL--storm blew thru with 60 mph wind and did a lot of damage in town. BH (for better half) and I are looking out the window about 7 and it was raining so hard and blowing sideways so you could barely see--this truck came down the road about 10 mph and all you could barely make out was his lights....................*I mean we need the rain and the cooldown is definately welcome. but...............the 60 plus mph winds and lightening.....not welcome.....................

Happy Anniversary Bee. Hope you and your bh have a nice time. By the way when a person talksd about their significant other, what does DH mean? I have seen it on here before.

I must confess, I am quite the klutz myself.   My husband keeps telling me that he gives walking lessons on Tuesdays, but I always miss them.  No broken bones (knock on wood), but my legs, knees, and elbows look like they have been through a meat grinder with all the scars.   Sprained ankles are so common, I do not even bother with a doctor or any treatment (Suck it up and keep moving).

Happy ANV Bee.

Hope you feel better soon Vonissk.
