New FB account called Flush Rush - goal is to contact all of Fox's sponsors and ask them to withdraw their advertising during his show. The N" word seems to have gotten the big man into some deep doodoo. AARP members are also organizing to tell that organization to stop supporting him or they will resign their memberships and not renew.

Sorry but I don't go anywhere near facebook, or the Fox network....:)
Hope the toilet doesn't get stopped up when he's flushed.
He who flushes cleans up the mess....LOL

Lol. Rush isn't going anywhere, and neither is Anderson Cooper for that matter; they're the same guy, and evidently, it's working.

by Blitzen on 22 July 2013 - 20:07

I don't blame you for staying  away from FB.

I'm afraid you're right Carlin, but it's fun to think that one day he won't be on TV anymore. I used to think that about Howard Stern, can't even watch that TV show he's on, but he's more popular that ever. How low can we go?

Much lower I'm sure.

It is called freedom of the press.  Be thankful we still have it.

by Blitzen on 23 July 2013 - 10:07

Oh I have no issues with freedom of the press. I have issues with a man who uses the "N" word and refers to women as sexrataries, and hoes on a nationally broadcast TV network. If he needs to be vulgar to get his point across, then he should be flushed.

"Flushing" him would be denying him his freedom.  We may not agree with what others say or how they say it, but that does not give us the right to take away their freedom.

The words are not the problem, nor free speech.
The problem is the idiots who listen to it.

The problem is the idiots who listen to it.

...this, because if people didn't tune in daily to have their opinions and world views handed to them, these media mouths wouldn't be on the air.  Believe it or not, Rush Limbaugh's (and Fox News' for that matter) best friends are the members of the decidedly progressive mainstream media, in that around half of the country, the conservatives, feel relegated to these alternatives.
