Moons, you ever been to Florida? Now those are some big ass roaches down there. Was at a Red Lobster one time and just after our dinners were served, a humongus roach crawled up the wall next to our table......sucker must have known dinner was served. We got up and left the food for the roach after calling the server over to have a look at the uninvited freeloader. LOL

Yeah I lived in Florida for a time, saw a few nice ones there too.
But in Texas I worked for a linen service and we went into restaurants before they opened, what I saw would make you stop going out to eat forever....LOL
Some of these places (kitchens) when you turned on the lights were so covered in roaches they made noise you could hear scampering away as we entered.
One of these places was the restaurant a top the space needle (Tower of the Americas ) in San Antonio, we had to re-bag all the linen to shake out the bugs before taking them back to the shop.
Needless to say I only worked a few days before quitting the job and heading further south to the coast.
They will out-live us all.......
