Here is the article and the link. http://www.examiner.com/article/scared-puppy-tennessee-shelter-leaves-volunteer-tears?CID=examiner_alerts_article
{Michele Davenport, a shelter volunteer, is desperate to help a terrified German shepherd mix puppy who is kenneled at her local animal shelter in Oak Ridge, Tenn.
The puppy, who has no name, is so frightened at the facility that she sits in the corner, cowering in fear, averting her eyes and exuding pure sadness.}
The pup's response leaves Davenport desperate - she writes:
As I sit here writing this, I am crying because she is just so sad
Though the dog is terrified, she has never shown any sign of aggression.
Davenport knows that the puppy needs a patient person who is willing and able to build her confidence, but finding that person before it is too late might be difficult.
She writes:
I want to save her and this shelter tries very hard to place their dogs, but I'm afraid due to her shyness, sadness, and hiding in the corner of her cage will not get her adopted. She was brought in April 25th and time is not on our side.
Please take a moment to network for this young dog who is at the Oak Ridge Animal Shelter.
