Hi everyone, we are looking at bringing someone in from europe to work in our kennel here and work and title some dogs.
I do not have any contacts in europe and was just wondering if anyone knew of someone interested in coming to canada.
or any info on how i would go about doing this
thanks

First, I would make sure that you know all the required paperwrk and permits to employ someone from outside of Canada.. Are you looking for a student or just a "trainer".
After all that I could ask some people out there and see if they want to do something like that.

As GSDPACK points out, there's a whole lot involved in hiring someone from overseas, so before you get anyone's hopes up, better to find out exactly what hoops they'll need to jump through, and what it's going to cost to make it happen. You're not the first person to do this, though, so it's obviously not something insurmountable!
Once you've got all those ducks in a row, in addition to GSDPACK checking with their contacts, you might want to reach out to Raino Flügge in PEI, and Gabor Szilasi in Tennessee. Flügge emigrated from Germany to Canada in 2001, so he might have a better handle on the ins and out, vis-à-vis the Canadian government; Szilasi is from Hungary, and commutes frequently between Tennessee and there, so I would expect he would know some qualified people who could be a good fit for a job such as you have in mind, too...and I think you'd be hard-pressed to find many [if any] with a discouraging word to say about either one.
I wish you well in your proposed endeavor...it's certainly something a lot of people dream of doing, and could be a terrific opportunity for all parties involved.

JBasler, and you've been working with Canadian immigration for how long?
They aren't talking about bringing someone in for a seminar. They're looking to hire a kennelmaster. Big difference.
