I remember the first time I went to CA it was on 66 and there were all these signs to stop and see this and that. Mostly all you see now is billboards and state signs stating points of interest exit here. Yesterday we were about an hour west of Hays, KS. and all of a sudden I start seeing these handpainted signs. Biggest Prairie Dog in the world, 6 legged steer, 5 legged cow, bison, quail, stop and pet pigs. So it went on and on and as we got closer I wondered out loud how much it cost to see these things. I was asked if I really wanted to stop. I lied and said no because I knew they really didn't want to. Had I been traveling with a different person or alone, yes I definately would have.............Other than on TV and the zoo I've never seen much prairie dogs much less the biggest one in the world!!!!!!
