Along the same vein as Preston's smart meter thread, I thought we should probably be warning people about the very real dangers of DHMO:

LOL, Keith!
Great article...it just shows how people can stir up fear over trivial things, and how easy it is to twist the truth.
Now, 'scuse me, I spilled something stinky on myself while cleaning the runs, and need to find some dihydrogen monoxide to help get rid of the smell.

Grossman, oh so funny. Yes, water our basic human need. Actually water contamination is a very big problem for many city municipalities. One city near me had pcbs in their city well and many got cancer from it. Another area not far away has contamination in ground water from a major multi-national corporation (many lawsuits and increased cancers). I talked to one mayorwho is very concerned about endocrine disrupters in the city water supply and groundwater. he claims that this is due to folks prescriptions ending up in the water systems. He says that current methods of filtering do not appear to be effective in removing these. Numerous govt hearings have been held about this growing problem:

It is my view that we all need to be informed citizens and do our best to expose and end USG corruption, inefficiency and ineffectiveness when we become aware of it. Sad thing is when our Republic is in trouble now, many want to stick their heads in the sand, do nothing and ridicule those that do care and want to help get things corrected.
