Just wanted to share my first day back to college in umpteen years. I am only taking one class on Tuesdays and Thursdays. It is Chickasaw language and a little history and culture. It was an amazing class, I learned as lot about why our language is set up and spoken like it is,,,,,,,,,My goal is to become a fluent speaker and tho I have a solid foundation in it, there is so much more I can learn from this class....I really liked the instructor--actually I couldn't figure out if he was high mixed Indian or just plain white--but OMG what a speaker and what a historian he is...so no matter. Also they had a fluent speaker from my tribe-that I sorta know. Some words I don't think they pronounced as I know them to be but I won't go there on the first day. LOL..................Anyway school is great................

Thanks you guys for the encouragement.................In that hour and something I was transformed to a different place. I can't even explain it. All I know is I look forward to 3 more semesters of this.

Why Thank you Brother. GSD......I do hope to be sharing more good things because people and gsd dogs wise, I do have a lot going on for me. And Geez Blitzen if you were here we would be doing so much things together....................I really wish..............
But as I said not long ago I like it here and think I am going to stick around...............LOL....and I enjoy sharing my good stuff with you guys..............we really all need to try to be more objective about things that are different and/or foreign to us..............me included. But for now I am a student of East Central University of Ada, Oklahoma................Go Tigers----------on my tuition bill they charged me 36 for student activity fees so I guess in saying Go Tigers I am entitled to it LOL LOL..........................LOL............

By the end of the course I'm sure there will be many interesing conversations exchanged that will allow your experinces, and everyone will get to learn from those, too.
My kids start on Monday, yeah! I'm going to take another yoga class, I think.
And nice post, it's been truly ugly watching with what happens to some people during the "political season".

Hey Bee, I bet you are glad the kids are going back to school..............yay for you to take a Yoga class. Wish I was a little more flexible.................If we had a fitness center close I would take a water class to help my poor muscles and arthritic joints. Thanks for the encouragement.................You think I'm not excited--I've already gassed up the car and I'm ready for Tuesday. Yay................
I know what you mean about the elction stuff. I too am getting tired of it. Yes I know I am guilty of stirring the pot some, but not to worry I am leaving it alone. What happens in November will happen................I know I will vote and you guys know who for so that's all I'll say on that................

Good luck with your class vonissk. Learning should be a life long activity. I've been teaching for over a week now and my classes are keeping me extremely busy, especially my AP biology class. Great group of kids. My marine biology class is a lively group (half of them are on the football team) and they make me smile--relaxing content compared to my AP class. My other high school biology classes are a nice bunch of kids too.
