Are others experiencing malware problems when they are on this site?

We are aware of this and it has something to do with cloudflare and the html that they provide the site. Oli has been informed and is looking into it with cloudflare.

We don't think at this time that it is anything more than false warnings, possibly triggered by false reports to various virus companies.

Malwarebytes.com is giving warnings about blocking an IP which is a cloudflare IP so we are reasonably sure at this point it is cloudflare related and most people should be more worried about the links they click on. Again, these appear to be false warnings about cloudflare.com which is a company that protects many sites online.

BTW, Oli would be better helped with what the warnings say so he can track it down as opposed to threads asking if others are having problems.

AVG just lets me know that malware is detected and gets rid of it for me.

Is this the free AVG, these are the details that would help and if you don't want to post that here you can PM it to me. We have had problems with AVG free but they supposedly fixed it.

Yup, me too! It has been discussed on the OT forum before. I don't use AVG or cloudfare.

You use cloudflare everytime you come on this site. It is a software(html) to protect this site from all kinds of nasties. Again, telling us you are having problems is not going to help unless you are willing to share the details.

Search cloudflare or click the cloudflare link above. If you use this site you use cloudflare. It is a web security component that sites can use to protect their sites.

Yes, it is the free version of AVG. I have had the paid version in the past, but my son told me to save my money since the free version works well and he can solve any computer problems for me if any arise.

As you all can see this site is safe and is reported safe by all major powers to be. If anyone can find this site listed as bad on any rating site let us know. Or if anyone can find an actual malware file on their computer that they can prove came from this site we would love to see it. Free virus scans are well free.

If you look at the above AVG link you will see that the people at AVG agree there is a problem with their software and this site and it is supposed to be taken care of in the next major release of their free product. You also should have a log that keeps track of these warnings(have your son find it) and post the warnings here.
