it's so hard to find your hubby watching this over & over again knowing you can't replace a good battle buddy.

I pray every night that this war will be over, but really is it just starting

by beetree on 14 March 2012 - 08:03

I just don't get the sarcasm in your title, then. The best "battle" buddy is the dog, so really this thread is OT, too. You do know the OT rules, don't you?

yeah....you are absolutley right.....no sticks or stones, logic, or common sense would be able to help in your case...

Regarding our soldiers with PTSD;  my friend trains service dogs for these people with great, great success.  I hope hubs can get some kind of help for himself or possible a dog to help him thru these rough times.  Nan

LadyFrost, you've always been astute, in my book.

Oregontnt2007: Who cares about your emails? LOL And "sticks and stones" refers to name calling...I didn't see any. Just a flippant attitude from an immature mind, perhaps?

Still, you don't notice how it is a weird way of addressing a serious situation from a devoted, left-behind wife. Just sayin'.

May your joy cup runneth over.

I very rarely rumble on the forum but Lady Frost, I completely agree with your posts.

I also agree with Nan. I hope anyone with PTSD finds the help that they need...for my sister, art therapy was very beneficial.

I too am confused by the intent of this thread.  Is it about PTSD, the death of the marine in the video, or the dog?
