I've noticed a big increase in SPAM and phishing emails. Anyone else exeriencing problems? Is there any way to stop it? Right now I'm sending it all to the spam folder and deleting without opening.

Yes, my antivirus software has given me several warnings in regards to this site lately. Long scripts running and flowing down my pc and other warnings. I usually scan my pc and exit the site.

My computer has been flat out crashing after being on this site, but someone else said they were getting alerts & the administration said they knew why, it was some program they had installed was setting off an alert. So what do you do about it? I've run my virus scan, but it never finds anything, just tells me to upgrade, LOL! Is there anything else that can be done? jackie harris

My computer will lock up completely, frozen screen... if I leave it "parked" on this site..
Its been doing it for some weeks now.. I thought it was just me..
I have been getting into the habit of leaving the site anytime I leave the room.
I can hear the hard drive spinning like crazy.. even now.
This computer is older, running XP.
I wonder what the solution is...

Yes, the solution usually is UPGRADE. Something PC'ers are less likely to do than Mac users. We know this happens and we know we pay. And when we pay it usually goes away.

Spam and phishing emails are not coming from this site. Oli blocks the farming of email addresses by bots.
The free AVG security software has a known problem with this site and should be updated soon.
Cryptic posts are not helping, please provide the security software you are using and either a screenshot of the warning or the actual wording of the warning.

I use Norton, haven't seen any warnings on this site or any other. I just have seen a huge increase in SPAM and phishing emails recently.
