It is true what they say, time slows down, like a stop frame movie! My thoughts were for my children as I slowly realized I wasn't watching a movie, but was about to be smooshed, head-on by a truck. I'm sure there was divine help, as no one was hurt, just the nearly jackknifed semi-flatbed trailer, and the pungent smell of its burning rubber.
I also realized I wouldn't have done a thing, I was just frozen! Totally unprepared to act! I was at the mercy of God. Or the excellent driving skills of this mystery trucker. The other car driver was an absolute idiot, and I realize he would have lived, the trucker would have lived, but I would have been dead.

It all depends on your point of view.
Being in the right or wrong place at any given moment.
Anything can alter your movement through time, and change events.
I don't think it was really angels but if you do that's fine.
Now we wait for gouda and Shtal to explain the situation.
LOL
I have been in a situation where a fraction of a second decided my fate, live or die, the deciding driving force behind the event was a German Shepherd Dog of all things.
Absolutely true.
Moons.

I just don't want to get hurt, that stinks and I will do a whole lot to avoid that. I have enough aches and pains to want any more. I don't get paid enough to get hurt on my job and I take every precaution to stay safe, the rest is out of my hands. I suppose with all of the stupid things I've done there must be someone watching over me. I'm glad your ok, Bee.

I've never had any close calls driving, but an illegal immigrant hit my daughter broadside because he was coming down a hill too fast and couldn't get stopped in the winter time. She was in the back seat with her baby (at that time) and said the sound was deafening. Tamara, who has the sweetest voice and smile and is only 5' high, went 'spider monkey' on the guy, hitting him and pummeling him as hard as she could. I guess it wasn't very hard, as he just stood there and took it. Anyway, I'm sure glad it wasn't more serious.
The roads are just plain scary these days, we all need guardian angels.

He was here illegally, which is why he begged to pay for damages in cash, otherwise, buh bye, he'd no longer be here. Maybe if he was legit, he'd have been forced to get his license and learned how to drive in Canada properly, and how to handle vehicles on our roads.
