Numerous articles have attacked the TSA airport screenings as blatant examples of "creeping govt tyranny" in the USA.  The use of unlicensed, unregulated, untested dangerous radiation emitting Xray scanners with inadequate scatter shielding for TSA employees (and recent evidence of higher rates of cancer in TSA agents working near them). And TSA agents never go through any police academy or take an official law enforcement oath.  thety are not sworn peace officers and should be.

Here's a recent story on the TSA which is a real mindblower.  This type of event was really unexpected but bound to happen eventually. And now it has. Remember this joker took two pills not just one.

So not only is this TSA boondagle a maasive waste of money, it needless offends innocent passengers, employs useless technology and practices which are inferior to Israeli and Russian procedures, and is lieterally killing the entertainment, gaming and hospitality industry in Las Vegas, and is destroying the travel industry and sevetrely harming the airlines, resulting in less service to small cities.  This in general is bad for business and is just plain stupid. Folks better wake up and demand that the TSA be disbanded and effective airport security enacted like well trained dogs which sense explosives and contraband, ike used in Israel and Russia, and start xraying and inspecting every single piece of baggage like the Israelis do.  By the way the TSA has failed every single security check so far and their equipment and pat downs are not effective at anything other than offending honest travelors and harming the traevl business.

This TSA agent retired after this incident because he couldn't stand it any more.

Quote from Preston: "And TSA agents never go through any police academy or take an official law enforcement oath.  thety are not sworn peace officers and should be."

Nor do the Military Personnel that you recently suggested be sent to the southern border.  In fact, TSA employees take an oath remarkably similar to that of Military Personnel:

I, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter. So help me God.

I agree with you that many of the TSA's screening practices are a gross violation of both Constitutional Rights and, IMO, basic human rights.  I just find it contradictory that you are comfortable with Military Personnel providing border security, but object to the similarly trained, qualified, and sworn TSA Employees providing transportation security.

The problem is not with the qualification of TSA Officers, it is with their actions.

No, it' with the policies. They are doing as they are told. We need to change policy.

Why I always get groped 2-3-4 times everytime is ridiculous. It's like they pass you around just to feel you up like some inside joke. It's insulting. You can't even say anything if you do it's disorderly conduct.

I agree that most TSA are good folks, just expected and required to do unacceptable acts by higher ups with a negative agenda, such as teaching the sheeple to accept tyranny and loss of Constitutional rights.  There has been some sexual offenders that were hired without a criminal background check beyond two years back.  If a police officer cannot sexually grope a person or a child without probable cause or a warrant, why should TSA be allowed to order their agents to do this?

Another serous issue is the profiteering of former Homeland Security head  Michael Chertoff making millions off of the scanners he has pushed into airports with his influence peddling.  Don't believe me, do your own research.  Plus these Xray scanners are unlicensed, unregulated, untested, have no real backscatter protection the operators do not use dose badges like Xray techs are required to do.  That is why TSA agents have had significantly higher rates of cancer.  their superiors apparently consider them disposable too.

a few months ago i flew from houston tx to white plains ny and back. the first flight, they wanted me to go through the microwave scanning machine, which i declined. we don't use a microwave in our home, why would i want it used directly on my body - yes different waves...blah, blah...

so i was "patted down" after i thanked the woman for doing such a great job in stopping any possible terrorists from doing harm to us.....she had no clue - it wasn't a compliment.

on the way back i had an 8 week puppy with me, i was set aside and groped at every chance. the plane was late and the puppy needed a spell, so of course i was groped again when we reentered the "secure area", after the 4th pat down, i decided that the puppy could shit on the floor in the restroom......instead of having to go through security and endure another unconstitutional groping.

during that weekend i was on 4 planes and was pat down 7 times, its gotta be a record!

Slamdunc, do you realize how much BS is with this TSA ? It is BS. Do you even fly ? Seriously gropeng private parts (2-3-4 times) and not even under arrest is BS !!! This is like gropeing before arrest, you get arrested for disorderly conduct if you even say "WTF", and NOT another grope afterwards !! (dudes in my home town would go nutz to do what TSA does to me) It's BS.

I've been arrested for disorderly conduct coming HOME from a state (two times), they arrested me after I said "WTF" after they groped me and then said "she's feels like a tire iron" ( twice) ... then I'm sent to another groper, multiple times, multiple gropers, then arrested !!!!.. WTF Slamdunc !!

You people deserve what coming to ya...honestly. Check out the executive Orders from just this year by Obama !!!! All America really needs is a President that will act apon them, defending the Constitution !!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank YOU Obama !!!!! Ron Paul 2012 !!!

Yes, they are funny.  Perhaps I will post some even more hilarious documents about seized pensions in European countries and current behind the scenes moves in congress to seize govt pensions and fold them into social security (except for Congressman and Senators of course, they are too special).  Now I know govt workers, including city employees and police, firemen/women think it can't happen to them.   But that's what the govt workers in Wisc. who worked for the govt thought too when their collective bargaining was taken away.  They lobbied and mobbed the state legislature for over a week and threatened recalls, but alas the governor attained his goals. They found out about big corporate power, union busting and got a taste of what is coming.

Stay tuned and keep laughing  because the odds are you will never get your retirement according to top economists unless we turn things around quickly.  You will even be luck if you can afford to stay in your home after the new couple of years, and lucky if the USA even still exists as a free and sovereign nation.  But hey, don't we have good folks in DC running things?  If you are lucky you may get reduced social security which they are talking about getting rid of too.  And all ready due to freezes and inflation, it is rapidly losing its purchasing power.  So just keep laughing while the PTB steal you blind in plain sight. If you are a public school teacher, a college professor, police officer or fireman/women you better have really good seniority because in many large cities up to 40-50% have been suddenly laid off with little prior notice since those in admin try to keep these severe budgeting problems covered up as long as they can.  Remember tax collections and receipty from all sources are down, way down. If you are one the unlucky ones that gets laid off good luck finding a decent job with a real unemplyment rate ranging from (9% in best areas to 40% in the worst and a 20% average).

One more, thing, I don't care if folks believe anything I state.  It doesn't matter.  It's what they think about the articles, sources and docs I post and what their own research leads them to believe.  By the way if folks wanty me to stop poosting PM me or say so and if a fair number do that, I'll gladly stop.  Remember I was asked to come back on board and post by several.  So please keep laughing.
