If she was intentionally baiting the dogs, and they had caused her no problems in the past, that is pretty messed up.. I can't stand people who live in the country and complain over every dog that just walks across their land..
I am close to doing something drastic to my neighbor's dog, but this is after repeated requests to keep the dog off my land.. This dang dog keeps killing my chickens, just kills them and leaves them.. He attacked my little 2 pound rat dog, and that's the last straw, when my animals can't even enjoy their own yard.. The crack head even replied that "It's just a chicken.." Yes, but it's my chicken, in my yard.. People need to take responsibility for their dogs. If a dog gets loose, yea sure it happens.. But when an owner just lets their dogs roam, that's asking for trouble and someday their pet will get hurt, ran over, stolen, shot..

Thanks ML! He sleeps well, when not on the hunt! We have taught him to "nap" on command!

How are the chickens bee?
I am thinking of getting live rabbits for my dogs to play/eat....i just don't think my husband and child will understand....also there is always a chance that rabbit could get out of the fence and there goes $10.00 of food...

Never mind rabbits: MY dogs go crazy over the rabbit POOP! LOL!
Erin, I might have said this before, but since you live in the country, the three S's do apply!
Just make sure you're really, really good a keeping a straight face when the neighbour comes to enquire about his missing dog!

Poop...lol
Dogs will eat just about anything won't they?
Mine drug up another opossum last night, kills me to watch them guarding it until it moves, hard little buggers to kill.
They don't seem to want to eat those greasy things though.
Now I get to take it to the dump with me today.
