Gouda, what makes you think there's any reason this site should serve as a platform for bible study?!?!   This site belongs to Oli, and if HE wants it to be a bible study forum, that's his prerogative, but as far as I can tell, Oli  wanted and created a dog-related website--not a pulpit for would-be preachers and prophets.

Believe whatever you choose, but please, keep it to yourselves. At no time has anyone EVER logged in on PDB and posted a request for someone to proselytize or witness to them--though there have been a MULTITUDE of posts from people asking you to STOP doing so, which you conveniently ignore.  For those who believe the Bible is a foretelling of all things that affect humans and the earth, oughtn't you be allowing the Biblical tide to carry you along, so you can go to glory as you expect? I would think it an act of blasphemy to interfere with the 'stage directions' you believe you've been divinely provided with...how dare you do anything to thwart the plans of your deity?!?

The actions of a polite and considerate person would be to only preach to those who ask for your assistance, and to do so in a more appropriate setting. Just because Oli established an "Off Topic" forum doesn't make it a cyber-Mount Sinai.

Good point and I will be discussing these things with Oli in the next few days. I am pretty sure Oli was good with religion being talked about in a general sense but to have a self professed watchman slamming Muslims and condemning others who don't have the his extreme views is beyond what Oli had in mind.

I know some will not like what I am about to say but maybe OT needs a change.

As always I am thankful for your opinions and help.

Sorry for replying a bit late; thanks for the article, but in regards Calvinism no offense to those who believe it but It’s always amazing me how two people can read Bible and come to apposite conclusions of what they are reading it. You know two people can look at Gods word, one of them believes in predestination – he/she looks at the written Biblical word and says wow look how many millions of people going to hell and they even NOT known it or have choice or will to come to Christ because they were NOT been chosen by God. The true Bible believer Christian stands their looks at the same written Biblical word – and says wow God gave us a choice that we might obtain the highest good; he gave human-being a perfect freedom to love or not love God that I have choice and will; but millions of people blew it, ruined it through pride and going to hell.

Ruger1, your sweetest truth comes from your sources of the people's interpretation of the Bible that you rely on there credibility having higher education Ph'd and etc... remember when you had confrontation with GSDGUY08, you told him you were not satisfied with his answer because it doesn't fit with your beliefs, you and ggturner automatically jump the guns about his sources credibility. People believe what they want to believe, that is I can see.

Can the Calvinism vs Arminianism argument wait a few weeks, or months at least?
